By law, MSA plans cannot restrict members to a network, or specific set, of providers. Instead, members have access to any Medicare-participating provider across the U.S.

The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services allows Medicare providers the choice to accept or decline an MSA member at each visit.

Here’s the good news: Most providers accept the MSA, including the nation’s largest and most renowned systems. And, members can never be denied care in an emergency due to their insurance.
